Participate in Downtown Lancaster’s Love Local campaign and help drive community support while showcasing your business! This February, we’re highlighting different business categories each week to celebrate the diversity of downtown Lancaster.
We invite your business to create a special, deal, promotion, giveaway, or event that aligns with the theme of love during February. DDL will market the Love Local campaign, featuring your business and its offerings across multiple platforms to increase exposure and community engagement.
How to Participate:
Fill out the form to select which week your business will be involved in and share your promotional details. We’re happy to help with ideas and support your planning if needed!

Women's History Month GlamBot | March 2025
Celebrating the Women Who Lead Our Community
As we celebrate Women's History Month, we're excited to shine a spotlight on the incredible women leaders shaping the heart of our downtown Lancaster community. To honor their achievements, we're introducing a unique, glamorous experience—our very own "Glambot." Inspired by the glitz and glam of red carpet events, this experience is designed to highlight the strength, diversity, and power of women in our community.
What is the Glambot?

How You Can Participate:
All we need from you is a few minutes of your time! Strike a pose, bring your incredible women colleagues, and let’s create a dynamic video that celebrates the formidable women in our community. Your participation will contribute to a powerful video highlighting the women who are making an impact in downtown Lancaster. Nominate a Downtown Female Leader | March 2025
Celebrate the inspiring women leaders of Downtown Lancaster this Women’s History Month! We’re spotlighting role models who make a positive impact in our community by breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations.
Submit your nomination to have a remarkable woman featured on our social media.

Shop Hop | March 6th-8th, 2025
Participate in Downtown Lancaster's Shop Hop to encourage people to get out of their winter funk and come downtown to support your business. Kicking off March 6th through 8th, 2025. We are asking businesses to be creative and think of an event, special, deal, or giveaway that will encourage folks to visit you during this three day event. DDL will market this event and share your promotions! As always, if you need help brainstorming promotion ideas, feel free to reach out to us.
We will create a Shop Hop guide (available online and distributed to participating businesses) for attendees and when they make a purchase at your business they will ask you to stamp their guide. Once they've received at least 4 stamps, they can leave their guide with any participating business for us to pick up and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Downtown Gift Card.
Participation Fee: $25 for DDL Members or $50 for Non DDL Members (After you submit the form, we will send you an invoice for your participation fee)

ArtWalk | July 25th, 2025
Destination Downtown Lancaster partners with the Lancaster Festival to host the ArtWalk each year as part of the Lancaster Festival's ten-day celebration of the arts. The 2025 festival is July 24th - August 2nd, 2025. Our goal is to provide visual artists with a platform to share their talents and gifts to enrich the lives of the community members. ArtWalk is the biggest night in downtown where the crowds reach thousands and local businesses are paired with artists for this annual opportunity.
If you are hosting an artist, or multiple artists/group at your business for ArtWalk, you must submit an ArtWalk Host application.
Deadline to Sign Up: Friday, February 19th, 2025
Chocolate Walk | April 4th, 2025
Be a host location for Chocolate Walk and entice people into your business to see what you have to offer. You will be included on the walking map with the description of your delectable chocolate offering. This year's event is on Friday, April 4th, 2025.
Each attendee will check in with DDL to receive a wristband, chocolate walk bag, map, and any additional event information. Participating businesses will need to come up with and prepare 450 chocolate treats to give away; feel free to purchase or make your own chocolate (if you purchase chocolate, please shop local)! Participating businesses will also need to be open from 4pm - 7:30pm. If you're not sure what your chocolate item will be, please sign up now and we will follow up with you closer to the event.

WinterFest and Tree Lighting | December 6th, 2025
On December 6th, DDL will host Downtown Lancaster’s WinterFest & Tree Lighting. During this event there will be free horse drawn carriage rides, holiday music, a scavenger hunt throughout participating businesses, pictures with Santa, and more!
We are asking businesses to come up with a family activity or offering to provide on the day of the event between 12:00pm to 5:00pm. This is a great way to showcase your business to potential and returning customers! Examples of past activities include make and take crafts, cookie samples, cookie decorating, coloring pages, discounts, games, etc.
