Did you know that you can Sip & Stroll throughout the downtown? Purchase your favorite beverage from a downtown bar, restaurant, or brewery, ask for it in the approved DORA cup, and enjoy within the designated area shown below.
Rules
Beverages must be purchased from one of the state-approved liquor license holders within the district.
Beverages can be enjoyed daily between 11am and 12am within the designated area.
Patrons must finish their beverage before entering another business that sells alcohol.
Cups must stay within the DORA. Look for signs that indicate the boundaries.

Can I walk anywhere with my DORA cup?
No, you must stay within the DORA boundaries. Leaving the DORA with an alcoholic beverage breaks State of Ohio and City of Lancaster open containers laws.
Can I take my DORA cup back inside the establishment in which it was purchased?
No, once a DORA cup has left a business, it must be consumed before you enter any establishment the serves or sells alcohol.Can I take my beverage into an establishment that doesn’t have a liquor license?
Yes, as long as the business does not serve or sell alcohol and they’re okay with beverages being consumed in their establishment.
Can I take an empty DORA cup into a business so I can reuse it?
No, you must throw away a DORA cup before entering any business.
What types of alcoholic beverage can I have in my DORA cup?
Beer, wine, and liquor are all allowable drinks in DORA cups. Drinks must be purchased inside a participating business.
Can I bring my own alcoholic beverage, pour it into a DORA cup, and walk around in the DORA?
No, only drinks purchased from businesses participating in the DORA are allowed. No cans, glass bottles, or outside drinks are permitted within the boundaries per State of Ohio law.
