Grace Korandovich was born and raised in Galena, Ohio. In 2011, she moved to California to pursue her undergraduate degree in business management with a minor in fine arts and to play lacrosse at San Diego State University. While attending San Diego State Grace split her time between the field, class, and the studio. After a lacrosse injury shifted gears for Grace, giving her time to focus on her studio practice and love of art and design.

Grace moved back to Columbus to get her MFA at Columbus College of Art & Design. It wasn’t until graduate school that Grace realized the similarities between how she creates and playing a sport. The combination of the tactile sensory experience, and physicality of her process generates a state of flow that athletics once did.

While at CCAD Grace started her design company, Grace K. Design, creating personal and commercial projects, ranging from temporary installations for events, to large scale permanent visual displays, and retail design. Grace K. Design has continued to flourish, and you can view her work at Easton Town Center, Ivy Court in Circleville, and coming soon to the North Market at Bridge Park.
